Christopher Mitchell has been a stylist for more than 30 years and has worked all over the U.S. and abroad. He is a graduate of Paul Mitchell the School and a licensed Cosmetology instructor with a broad range of specialties. Beginning his career in editorial styling, stage work and the art of wig making, Christopher is now specializing in balayage, color, cuts and custom wigs.  In a constant study of his craft, he attends specialty workshops all over the country that constantly challenge him to become a better stylists.  He has worked with many international brands and is currently in LOVE with Kevin Murphy Products, Schwarzkopf color and lighteners , Shades EQ and PM Shines. Christopher loves being an independent man with the creative power to use whatever is necessary to get the best results.

In his 30 + years in the industry, Christopher has created hand tied wigs and hair pieces for television, movies, theater, and stage, and has worked with countless celebrities and real people all over the world. He has styled for Red Carpet events, including the CMA Awards, the Grammys,  and the Tony Awards. Discretion and privacy are at the top of his priorities

Christopher is also the President & Founder of Root 66® Wigs on Wheels, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising the spirits of those who have lost their hair in their battle with cancer. Through the non-profit, Christopher gives the gift of personally delivered, custom-fitted and styled wigs.

Christopher’s Studio

In addition to his work with Root 66®, Christopher now creates magic at his studio at 2609 Westwood in Nashville’s new and exciting MELROSE/BERRY HILL area. The unique, one-on-one boutique-style private, studio is convenient to clients in Green Hills, 12 South, Brentwood, Franklin, Belle Meade, Midtown, and SoBro, and provides a private and relaxing environment in the heart of Music City.
